Teacher Grants & Requests

Teacher Grant Applications are CLOSED for the 2023-2024 school year.  Winners will be annouced in early December.

Teacher Grants (Fall of each school year)

How it works?

Applicants must be faculty members of Lynnville-Sully Community School District.  Grants will only be awarded to enhance current curricular classes.  Maximum grant award is $1,000/project.  Every faculty member is eligible to apply in October of each year and grants are awarded in late November.  The LSCEF has a subcommittee of board members who score each grant and decide on the funding of each project.

How can you help?

Donations may be made to the LSCEF, specifically for the teacher grant program.  With generous donors, we are able to continue awarding these grants.

Teacher Grants Awarded

On Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, the LSCEF awarded over $7,000 for 13 grants. That money will be used to fully fund 10 grant applications and partially fund three.  The LSCEF has been awarding teacher grants since 2014.  Grant money has been distributed 10 times during that time and to date, the LSCEF is just shy of awarding $58,000 in grants.
