The process for scheduling classes for the 2025-26 school year is underway! A big part of that scheduling process will be taking place on March 5 at our annual registration assembly.
As part of this event, students in grades 8-11 will hear about course offerings next year, graduation requirements and much, much more. The registration assembly will be held from 8:30am-9:45am (the first block of the day).
After the registration assembly, students will have until March 13th to submit their course selections to the HS office. Students are expected to submit their course selections prior to leaving for spring break.
If you have questions about this process, please reach out to our 6-12 Counselor: Mrs. O'Halloran at ohalloran@lshawks.com

Calling all parents of 4 year old students! Lynnville-Sully is proud to partner with Inspirations Childcare and Preschool Center and Diamond Trail Children's Center to provide a high quality preschool experience for students and their families. This is a great opportunity for families to meet the teachers, tour the preschool classrooms, and learn more about what Lynnville-Sully has to offer your students. We hope to see you there!
The 1st and 3rd grade classes were excited to listen to some authentic stories that were written and illustrated by our very own 8th graders! The 8th grade students were each assigned one of the 7 Habits from Leader In Me and were tasked to develop a story that would help younger students learn more about each habit. The 8th graders did a wonderful job of reading their stories with expression and encouraging the 1st and 3rd graders to identify the habit that was displayed in the book. Each class provided the 8th graders with feedback about their stories. Thank you to the our 8th grade students for sharing their stories with us!
Our Leader in Me focus the past few weeks has been learning about deposits and withdrawals from our bank accounts...with a twist. Rather than talking about monetary bank accounts, our time has centered around emotional bank accounts. You might have also heard about being a bucket filler. We know that our choices have impact on ourselves and others. When we engage in actions that positively influence others, we are making a deposit in their emotional bank accounts or filling their bucket. The amazing thing is that those same choices also fill our buckets too. We can all relate to the positive feelings and rush of energy we feel when we know we did something to make someone else's day better. I would encourage you to connect with your children on the choices they can make at home to be bucket fillers with their family members, neighbors, or others in the community. It's a win-win for everyone involved!
The Lynnville-Sully Community Education Foundation will be collecting gently used books from February 24th-28th for the annual Book Exchange which is being held this year on March 12th. Students will get the opportunity to bring home a few new books as well as multiple of the gently used books that have been donated. This is such an exciting event for all of the K-5 students and one of the many highlights of each school year! Donations can be dropped off at the elementary/middle school office.
We hope to see all elementary school families at parent-teacher conferences on March 10th and March 13th from 4:00-8:00 PM. Reminders with each families assigned conference time will be sent home in backpacks on Thursday, February 27th. We truly appreciate opportunities to partner with our students' families and are looking forward to having these important conversations!
